Book Club Spring 2026 -- Wednesday 10a-12p

$250.00

The 9-week season fee is $250/reader. All registered readers will receive a new-to-them book each week. Recommended for ages 5-10.

Day: Wednesdays

Time: 10:00AM-12:00PM

Dates: April 1-June 3, no session April 8

Location: 5247 Hog Mountain Rd, Flowery Branch

In April, we will focus on Animal Perspectives. In May, we’ll explore stories of Fantasy & Magic.

The first four themes will be:

  • Families

  • Nature

  • Home

  • Journeys

Before each meetup, readers should spend time reading any book that matches that week’s theme. Learners may bring the same book for multiple weeks to discuss through various lenses. During our time together, participants will share their books and reviews with the group. Then, we'll discuss connections between stories, characters, and their messages.

Each month will dive deep on story elements like setting, character development, perspective, and creative choices. We will also share a themed snack and activity. At the conclusion of every meeting, readers will be able to choose a new-to-them book on their reading level that corresponds to our theme.

Goals include:

  • Building a love for reading

  • Connecting & communicating with other readers

  • Growing analytical and critical thinking skills.
