This special session will be held on Monday, October 14th. Recently, think day (also recognized as Columbus Day) has been claimed to honor the indigenous peoples of the US and celebrated as Indigenous People's Day. While not a recognized holiday by the state of Georgia, we believe in the value of highlighting the histories, customs, and achievements of the current & past Indigenous Peoples of Georgia.
