Spruce Learning’s 9-week Summer learning season will begin July 22, 2025. This season will include a super fun field day for registered families. We will also host a public Book Fair, including author talks, open to all homeschool Learners and their grown ups. Families can also join in on other summer fun activities throughout the season - definitely plan on a water day!
Featuring academic learning, skill building, critical thinking, and connection as our main goals, the Spruce Learning Pod can serve as your main curriculum or an addition to at-home work. Learners will dive deep into topics, themes, and approaches each week in a comfortable yet structured home-based environment. They will make art, write, play, explore nature, care for living things, move, make friends, and grow!
Sessions for our Learners age 5-12 take place every Tuesday-Thursday, July 22 - September 25, (no sessions Labor Day week) 9:30am-3:30pm at the Spruce House (5247 Hog Mountain Rd).
Each session includes 2 snacks (we cook often, too!) and all materials. Learners should bring a lunch from home.
The summer season will focus on the age of advancement (1400 CE - 1700 CE) and the leaps in technology, art, invention, culture, and intellectual thought during that time period around the world.
Season Dates: July 22 - September 25, 2025, no sessions the week of Labor Day
Tuesdays: Nature & Outdoors
Wednesdays: Literacy, History, & Spanish
Thursdays: Math, Science, & Music
Summer flexibility option: Families may choose this option and opt for any 9 sessions in the summer season. Email Amanda at sprucelearningco@gmail.com to discuss.
