Full Spring Season (1 day) - Spruce Learning Pod
Choose TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, or FRIDAY (you’ll choose your 1 day per week on the registration form)
April 8-June 13 (no sessions the week of May 12)
Spruce Learning’s 9-week Spring learning season will begin April 8, 2025. As always, the season will culminate in a group project day. This season will end with a Geography Fair! We will also host a public Geography Bee & Spelling Bee, open to all Learners and their grown ups, as well as a Spring Bazaar for our young entrepreneurs.
Featuring academic learning, skill building, critical thinking, and connection as our main goals, the Spruce Learning Pod can serve as your main curriculum or an addition to at-home work. Learners will dive deep into topics, themes, and approaches each week. They will make art, write, play, explore nature, care for living things, move, make friends, and grow!
Sessions for our Learners age 5-12 take place every Tuesday-Friday, April 8 - June 13, 9:30am-3:30pm at the Spruce House (5247 Hog Mountain Rd). Learners registered for the whole season will receive nine (9) personalized learning stories detailing their growth across the season.
Each session includes 2 snacks and all materials. Learners should bring a lunch from home.
The spring season will focus on the history of early civilizations (2000 BCE - 1400 CE) and the establishment of cultures, customs, oral traditions, written language, and innovations around the world.
Season Dates: April 8-June 13, 2025 (no meetings the week of May 12, 2025)

Wednesdays: Literacy & History Focus
Thursdays: Math & Science Focus (no open enrollment for Spring Season 2025)
